26-7-10 This bus is now painted Kalahari Grey
bottom with pastel white top half and pop top sections. We have a hand made interior painted in the exterior colour with a real wood veneer top. The unit house a 12v compressor fridge and 2 glass topped smev appliances housing a sink and 2 ring stove.
The interior is fully sound deadened and insulated all new silent gliss curtain tracking. We have all of the seat and panels here trimmed in Brown and cream German vinyl. The van has all new glass, seals, rubbers lights and lenses. The dash has been detailed and painted in the lower body colour of Kalahari grey.
The twin port 1600 engine is lovely so does not need replacing though
if you want something with a bit more go we can install a remtec 1641
with twin carbs and sports pipe etc. This bus is going to be just
unreal!! RHD '68 with full high class rebuild you know you want it!

Another one just in the process of being built. The van is painted in banana yellow and white . The paintwork has been carried out and the van is now awaiting its rebuild. The van is to have a new headlining, painted dash in Pastel white. A choice of Good second hand westfalia, an Oz interior or a new campershak interior? This van is painted light green and pastel white. The bus has a rebuilt 2 litre engine coupled to the correct ratio gearbox. The bus has the benefit of the rare fuel injection system. Another one just in to the U.K from Australia. This is a lovely original colour of flipper blue. The van is a bit rare being an automatic 2 litre so nice and smooth to drive. We have stripped the bus out and will repaint in Marina blue and pastel white the same as the bus in the picture.

This bus is in stock now, we will strip this and repaint lecht orange and pastel white. The van will then have new interior and trim work to go with its rebuilt engine.

This Bus is finished, registered and ready to go. It is such a beautiful bus and the pictures really do not do the paintwork or the bus justice.
Brief History
This van was ordered new from Australia as part of the Tourist export scheme, it was collected from the Factory in Germany by its Australian owners. The colour was also special order : sealing wax red, this is normally an early split screen colour. We are really happy with the colour choice and it justs adds to the specialness of this van. We are very proud of this van and the paintwork is just unreal. If you are looking for an a van that combines originality with high class paint and trim this is the bus for you..
We have now rebuilt this bus the G'day way with all Genuine or German parts. All Glass is new, all seals are new, all rubbers are new, 1 key fits all the locks. The interior has been re-trimmed in cream vinyl and brown leather piping.
