This is a very rare RHD Oz import. RHD vw campers for sale like this are very rare indeed. This van was ordered in Australia in 1972, the owners then traveled to London to collect their van from the VW Tourist export offices in London. All of this amazing history is documented in this vans huge history file. All of the extras ordered are recorded and priced. It really is such a great slice of VW history and something that will ensure this van is a wise investment. The van comes with a fully stamped book showing the route it traveled around Europe and detailing its arrival in OZ.
This van was imported in to the U.K in 2007 and subjected to a full windows out respray. The van has all new rubbers and seals installed. The interior has had a full retrim of all seating. The engine is a 1700 type 4 factory ordered unit, it is the correct engine making this a matching numbers car. The engine has had a rebuild in Oz and completed around 20 000 miles since. We will carry out the following work:
- All new curtains to your choice
- new mad matz flooring
- new genuine Pop top canvas in Orange
- 5 powder coated wheels in white with new tyres and hub caps
- new U.K 240 install with RCD
- new install of 12v leisure battery system
- major service
- rebuild rear brakes
- new front pads
- waxoyl
