14-9-2012 Burgess's of Kent Auto full deluxe Wanderer rebuild. Gonna be Blue and white.

We were running low on good base autos for rebuild until our next batch of 10 vans arrived at thestart of June 2012. We therefore brought an old friend back, sold this bus to a local chap who stripped it out and intended to do the works to it. Like most great plans for a home project, family and a busy job got in the way so we purchased the van back in to stock.

The van was sent to paint and came back in the lovely classic Guineau blue and pastel white scheme. The interior furnishings were cream solid base with 2 go faster stripes on all seating in blue. The units were in stock and are own hand made and high gloss painted deluxe units.

The engine is a new SSP type 4 2 litre unit and the automatic box had a full rebuilt. All the usual lovely bits that make our buses stand out from the crowd such as bespoke made headinings, new pop top canvas fitted to the Oz only pop top roof. The van was also be lowered in house but on standard wheels so the classic low look.
