Another full G'day Wanderer rebuild. The Crockfords chose an Aussie pop top install for this super solid RHD Oz imported tin top. The repaint was carried out in Banana yellow and pastel white. The dash has been painted pastel white along with the cab floor and under dash area. All bolt on parts such as bumpers and pop top roof etc have been blasted (where applicable) and then prepped and painted in pastel white.
The interior furniture is a camper shak 3/4 width style interior in Maple. Full leisure system including a bespoke install of a tv dvd player with HD ready free view. The interior also has a propex heater installed to ensure they can get the most out of the British weather. The upholstery is carried out in house and no naff grey carpet fabric in our vans!! we do not scrimp on parts nor trim. We only use the best German vinyl and make all our door cards from abs plastic. The Crockfords opted for cream vinyl with a lemon stripe for the door cards. The seating had all new foam cut to size and is cream with a subtle lemon piping. A bespoke built headlining to ensure a correct fit and new pop top finish of the trim.
Engine was a 1641 Remtec fully rebuilt and dressed engine running twin Empi carbs and sports pipe. The engine bay was painted after we had removed, inspected and reinstalled the tank with a new fuel sender and filler neck.
Suspension wise the van has been lowered in house with an adjustable beam, powder coated wheels with new tyres and hubcaps to finish off the look.
Full bespoke rebuild back in to stock. Lovely 1972 South African Import.
